Former Deputy Information Minister in the erstwhile administration, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has slammed the Ghanaian media describing them as hypocrites for condemning the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama for supposedly ethnocentric ‘Akyem Sakawa’ comments.

Mr Kwakye Ofosu, an aspiring Member of Parliament in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress called out the media for failing to condemn then candidate Akufo-Addo when he passed tribal comments ‘Yen AKanfo” and “All die be die” in 2016.

According to Mr Kwakye Ofosu, President Akufo-Addo is nowhere close to the NDC flagbearer when it comes to avoiding ethnic and tribal sentiments.

The young politician also described the former President as a well behaved gentleman whose integrity will not be tainted by the deliberate misrepresentation of words and statements.
