You Can’t Force Us To Accept LGBTQI Just As We Can’t Force You To Accept Polygamy – Bagbin Tells Australia High Commissioner

The Speaker of Parliament, Mr Alban Bagbin has told the Australian government, through their high commissioner that Ghana is not ready to accept homosexuality.

According to the right honorable Speaker, the Culture of Ghana frowns on such practices, and as Ghanaians, we believe LGBTQI is an abomination.

Mr Bagbin, who was speaking when the Australian High Commissioner paid him a visit, said just as Ghana cannot force any country to Accept Polygamy, in the same way, no country can force Ghana to Accept LGBTQI.

On his part, the Australian High Commissioner, Mr Barnes said they are not trying to force Ghana to accept LGBTQI against our culture, but they believe culture can adapt to change.
