Wontumi Wants to Kill Me But I Know Dampare Will Arrest Him If I Die – Fmr NPP Chairman
A former NPP Chairman for Fomena, Kwesi Nti has alleged that his life has been threatened.
According to him he suspects the NPP Ashanti regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako (Chairman Wontumi) and has called on the police to apprehend him should he lose his life.
Mr Nti claims his life has been under threat since his decision to campaign against the NPP chairman’s reelection bid in the Ashanti region.
He said he is confident that as long as IGP George Akuffo Dampare leads the police, Wontumi will face the law if he dies.
“If you kill me, you’ve not killed anyone. But so far as Dampare (Inspector General of Police) exists, if I die today everyone will get to know it was Wontumi that contracted people to kill me.
“I’ve been threatened and no one would have threatened me if I had not spoken about him,” he stated in an interview with Neat FM.
