When Demeanor Does Not Match Voice: Kevin Taylor Vows To Meet Ken Agyapong In US Court But A Careful Look Shows All Is Not Well

US-based controversial journalist, Kevin Ekow Taylor has confirmed that a defamation suit has been served on him by attorneys for Assin Central MP, Ken Agyapong.

This portal reported yesterday that a defamation suit had been filed at the Virginia State Court by lawyers for Mr. Agyapong, suing the defendant, Kevin Ekow Taylor for defamatory comments made against the lawmaker over a period of time.

Kevin Taylor confirmed on his show yesterday that he has indeed been served with the civil action and has consequently instructed his lawyers to respond to the action within a week or two.

Mr. Taylor also said that he is ready to meet the Assin Central MP in Court anyday and even threatened to ‘strip the lawmaker naked’ before the US Judge as a crook who insults judges back in his home country, and someone who has absolutely no regard for law.

Perhaps Mr. Taylor will need to look into the mirror and observe himself closely if he is not guilty of the same things he is accusing the legislator of.

Interestingly, a careful look at the video reveals clearly that this is not the same maverick, defiant, unapologetic Kevin Taylor we have all become accustomed to.

Despite the fact that he boldly claims he is ready to meet his foe in court anyday, his demeanor suggests absolutely otherwise.

Having made it his business in recent times to insult everyone he disagress with in Ghana, including even Justices of the Supreme Court, probably buoyed by the security of a United States citizenship, Mr. Taylor may have finally realized that the chickens may finally be coming home to roost.

Readers may probably remember that Kevin Taylor first claimed that Kennedy Agyapong is a criminal and has been warned by US authorities not to step foot anywhere near the federation.

He quickly revised his allegation after the MP had entered the US federation and claimed that the legislator has had a brain surgery and was on the brink of death.

With litigation staring him in the face, and a $9.5 million judgement fee staring him in the face, Mr. Taylor is now consoling himself with claims that the burden of proof lies with the complainant.

What is clear, however, is that the Kevin Taylor we saw on TV yesterday is not the same person that has blatantly cast aspersions on even the President himself at regular intervals.
