We’re Ready To Dialogue But….. – NDC Gives Condition

Published

on

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed its readiness to dialogue over the party’s grievances in the 2020 polls, however, only on the condition that Jean Mensah resigns.

Speaking on Citi’s Eyewitness news, the Greater Accra Regional Chairperson of the NDC, Ade Coker insisted that the Electoral Commission Chair accept that she erred in declaring the results and resign before the NDC will dialogue.

“We are saying first and foremost, she must resign for the crass incompetence she has shown,” Mr. Coker said.

“Let us right the wrongs first then start talking. The first wrong to right is for her to resign and then we can talk because we have lost confidence in her,” he added.

The NDC have been holding a nationwide protest against the verdict of the 2020 Presidential polls and have vowed not to concede defeat until their grievances are addressed.
