We’re Extremely Satisfied With Asiedu Nketia’s Testimony In Court – NDC
Lawyers of the Petitioner, John Dramani Mahama have lauded the performance of the 1st witness, Johnson Asiedu Nketia after he brought his cross examination to an end today.
According to one of the lawyers for Mahama, Marietta Brew Appiah-Oppong, the legal team is impressed with the sterling performance of Johnson Asiedu Nketia while in the witness box for cross-examination.
She noted that everything Mr Nketia said pointed to the fact that they’re entitled to the declarations they’re seeking.
“We are extremely satisfied with the testimony given by our general secretary today. In fact, nothing that he has said undermines our case. Indeed, everything he said goes to point to the fact that we are entitled to the declarations that we are seeking,” she stated.

Apart From Speaking English And Fighting Corruption Fighters What Else Has Akufo-Addo Done Better Than Mahama? – A-Plus Quizzes
Social Commentator Kwame Asare Obeng known popularly as Kwame A Plus has criticised President Akufo-Addo for being a terrible President as compared to his predecessor, John Dramani Mahama.
In a post on Facebook he wondered how Ghanaians have been able to tolerate President Akufo-Addo’s incompetence since he took over power in 2017.
Read his post below:
“Do you know that apart from the current nationwide dumsor we experience, so many communities is Accra have been without water for many months yet everybody is quiet? That’s the kind of love and patience Ghanaians have for this NPP government. When you talk his people will come and ask you if Nana Addo works at Ghana Water Company. When you were criticising John Mahama he was a plumber, right?
Akufo Addo has not done anything better than John Mahama. That is a fact – same old Ghana. But if you like, let’s remove Akufo Addo from power today and bring John Mahama back to continue doing the same things Akufo-Addo is doing now; or even make Ghana a bit better than what it is today, Occupy Ghana will reorganise. Christians Council will find it’s voice again. Peace Council will pontificate about national issues as if Jesus just dropped them in Ghana after a meeting with God.
“John Mahama is the worse president ever.” Granted! Apart from speaking English, and fighting anyone who fights corrupt officials in his government, tell me one thing Nana Addo has done better than John Mahama? Ɛyɛ hype!!!.”

Mahama’s 2020 Campaign Manager Set To Contest Against Him For 2024
Posters and flyers of Prof. Joshua Alabi, the 2020 campaign manager of the NDC have been circulating on social media.
Prof. Alabi, one of the persons who contested former President Mahama in the last flagbearership primaries of the NDC is set to make another attempt.
The timing of the release of the posters has raised concerns considering the fact that the NDC is going through a turbulent period after having their Election Petition dismissed outrightly by the Supreme Court.
The Party Support base have also lashed out at the leadership of the Parliamentary caucus after they approved some nominees of President Akufo-Addo against the Party’s wishes.

NDC Consults Council Of Elders Over Issues In Parliament
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged party members to be circumspect with their utterances in order not to play into the hands of detractors waiting to exploit the current uneasy situation in the country.
This follows an emergency meeting of the Functional Executive Committee (FEC) of the party, on March 4, to discuss recent developments relating to the work of the NDC Caucus in Parliament regarding the approval of the President’s nominees for a number of ministerial positions.
A statement signed by Mr. Kakra Essamuah, the Director of Communications, and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra, said: “The FEC is of the considered view that whatever the disappointments and disagreements may be, especially from among the rank and file of the Party, care should be taken not to allow these to degenerate into unnecessary bickering at the expense of party discipline and cohesion”.
“We are also of the view that urgent action is required to deal with the matter and consequently we have initiated a consultation process with the Party’s Council of Elders in this regard. It is in our collective interest…to address challenges facing the Caucus Leadership and the Backbench as a whole.”
It said the task would be tackled expeditiously so as to preserve the unity, cohesion, and resilience of the NDC Parliamentary Caucus.
“We remain confident that the party will emerge from this more united and focused….as the NDC pursues its vision of a more egalitarian and inclusive Ghana,” the statement said.
