We’ll Deal With Joe Wise If He Dares Vote While Presiding – NDC MP Vows

Lawmaker for Bongo, Edward Bawa has said the Minority will square off with Bekwai MP, Joe Osei-Wusu (Joe Wise) if he ever attempt to vote while Presiding as first deputy speaker in Parliament.

He said Joe Wise will be met with heavy resistance should he attempt to vote while presiding.

“You can take my words to the bank; he will be matched squarely on that; he will be resisted. That you can take to the bank, it is an assurance I am giving you,” he said.

Edward Bawa advised the government to consider cutting down on expenditure instead of imposing the Electronic Transaction levy on Ghanaians.

He believes that when the government uses resources judiciously, that would be a great step to achieving a more stable economy.

“The issue of making resources available for the government for development must not necessarily be as a result of trying to look for more money. You can also look at cutting down expenditure,” he said.
