We Will Vote Against NPP In 2024 – Small Scale Miners

Daniel Kwaku Mensah a.k.a. “DKM,” a big time small scale miner in the Amansie West District, has stated that the government’s use of the military at mining sites to clamp down on “galamsey” operations will cause the NPP to lose big time in the 2024 general elections.

According to him, a large number of small-scale miners across the country are enraged by the above move, explaining that the NPP government, led by Akufo-Addo, is combating illegal mining with the military as if the country is at war.

He observed that, unlike the NDC, the NPP uses the military to destroy excavators of innocent and legal miners.

“This has re-provoked the majority of us to question President Akufo-leadership Addo’s and the NPP as a party… Let me tell you the reality, my brother: NPP will lose in 2024. Their motto for “breaking the eight” is only spoken. It will never be seen in the light.”

Mr. DKM went on to say that “the battle has not been successful so far on all of the military machinery assigned to the assignment,” adding that “the struggle has not been successful so far on all of the military apparatus assigned to the task.”

Mr. DKM, a devout member of the NPP, believes that the government should abolish the military and instead operate through the task force established by the small sale miners organization at the district level.

He defended the task force’s personnel, claiming that they are “grassroots” people who are “in touch with the realities on the ground.”
