We didn’t Obstruct Justice For Montie 3- Prof. Nana Explains Her ‘Haunting’ Past Action

Vice Presidential Candidate for the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Professor Naana Opoku-Agyemang has explained what she deem false notion about her involvement in the Montie 3 brouhaha.

The first female Vice Presidential Candidate said, it was wrong judgement against her that she was part of some NDC members who had petitioned the former president John Dramani Mahama to pardon the Montie 3 despite their shameful actions.

She however responded thus,  “We never went to the court to obstruct justice but allowed the legal system to take its due course. We never interfered with the process and even our judicial system allows for remorseful suspects to be pardoned.

“Even recently a lot of prisoners have been pardoned by the President. Look at what is happening in this current government, they always shield wrongdoers and don’t even allow for prosecution as compared to our example,” she clarified what she deemed as false impressions in an interview.

The Montie 3 were some NDC members who allegedly threatened and verbally abused judges on radio during former President Mahama’s administration.
