We Can’t Control All Our Angry Members; And We’re Not Behind Attempted Closure Of Lighthouse Chapel – Asante Youth Association
The Asante Youth Association (AYA) has dissociated itself from a group that attempted to close down the Lighthouse Chapel International branch at Bantama in the Kumasi Metropolis of the Ashanti region.
This comes after a group who called themselves Asante Force posted a notice on the Lighthouse Chapel International branch at Bantama with the inscription “Lighthouse Chapel closed by Asante Force” on Saturday, 26 June 2021 in an attempt to close it down.
According to a report by classfmonline, it took the intervention of the police to allow the church hild service.
General Secretary of AYA, Mr Tweneboah Koduah told class news that they have no hand in the action; insisting they cannot control all of its members because there’s so much anger within.
He, therefore, called for the Regional Security Council to have an interest in the situation and safeguard what is happening while entreating members to calm down tempers.
