‘We Can’t Be Toying With Students Lives’- Educationist Blasts GES
Popular Educationist, Daniel Fenyi has bemoaned the revision of the academic calendar of public schools.
According to him, the change of the academic calendar shows that, some people are not responsible.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio Morning Show, Daniel Fenyi added that, ” some people lack knowledge on how to run school system.”
He fumed that, there are about 6 million students at the basic level and for that, their lives cannot be toyed with.
“You can’t just wake up today, give them a particular calendar, wake up tomorrow, give them a different calendar when we haven’t even settled issues with curriculum, textbooks, more important and relevant issues in our education system,” he fumed.
The popular educationist stated that, “if you are not fixed and focused with some of the issues that are relevant in our education system, then it means your administrative skills, thinking capacity and vision are very shallow and that, the Ministry of Education should deal with you.
Daniel Fenyi however, told Oheneba Nana Asiedu that, whoever designed the calendar and later changed it should be called and questioned.
