WASSCE Students Who Insulted Akufo Addo Must Be Publicly Flogged – Educationist

Retired Educationist, Wofa Yamoah Frimpong has called for a public flogging of the WASSCE students who were seen in a video raining insults on President Akufo Addo after their exam.

These students of of Sekondi College in the Western Region were using unprintable words on the President as they claimed they couldn’t answer some questions in their ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination.

In reaction, Mr Yamoah Frimpong has insisted they must be flogged in front of their colleagues to serve as a lesson to others because they’re bad boys.

“These are bad boys in the society they shouldn’t be spared when identified .Authorities should try as much as possible to identify and punish them in public,” he said.

He added, “They should be flogged infront of their colleagues to serve as a deterrent to other recalcitrant students.”

He called on the various human rights organisations to speak on the issue since it is a matter of concern.

“Everybody must be concerned about it. Parents and the so-called Human Right Activists should speak against it. How can you Insult someone who has given you free education?” he quizzed.

He stressed, “Insulting someone who is older as your biological parents and grandparents, if you sinned against your Maker who created you to be obedient and respectful. Pray to Him for forgiveness and long life.”
