Wa: Akufo-Addo’s Plane Fails To Land After Bad Weather Forces It To Make U-Turn

President Akufo-Addo’s flight failed to land in the Upper West regional capital, Wa after a terrible weather forced the plane to return to Tamale.

The President was expected to be in Wa as part of a working visit in the region.

According to a report by starrnews who spoke to a local reporter, “the defense minister and the interior minister came by chopper. But the president was expected in about thirty minutes time and we actually saw the president’s plane surface but it couldn’t land due to the bad weather.”

Dignitaries continue to wait on the President’s arrival however, it keeps drizzling and it’s not clear whether the President could be able to return and land.
