Voters Register: Exercise Was Overwhelmingly Successful – Nana Addo

The just ended voters’ registration exercise has been described as extremely peaceful and orderly by President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo.

Addressing the nation during update number 15 on containment measures from government against the spread of COVID-19, Nana Addo congratulated the EC for a good work done while stating that the doom saying prophets have been shamed.

He said the new register is arguably Ghana’s most credible electoral roll in the country’s history.

Despite the commendation, the President also condemned some deeply regrettable isolated cases of violence during the process.

He added that such cases have been referred to the law enforcement agencies to handle them.
