Volta Will One Day Be NPP Stronghold – Sammi Awuku

National Organiser of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku has affirmed that the party will one day succeed in making the Volta region their stronghold.

The Volta region currently is a major backbone of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC). However, Sammi Awuku believes the NPP can make it their stronghold sometime.

He made this statement after he toured some selected constituencies to monitor the ongoing registration exercise in the region.

“A time will come one day when we will turn this place (Volta region) into our stronghold,” he affirmed.

Sammi Awuku was in the company of the Regional Chairman, Makafui Woanya and the Deputy Youth and Sports Minister, Perry Okudzeto.

Some of the constituencies they toured include Ho, Ho West, Afadzato South, South Dayi, North Dayi and Kpando.
