Video: Traders Chase NDC Campaign Team From Kejetia Market

It was a scene of hooting and insults as some traders in the ultra-modern redesigned Kejetia market chased away a group purported to be members of the Ashanti Regional NDC Campaign team as they went about their peaceful campaign activity.

The new Kejetia market, constructed by the Ghanaian government with the partnership and financing of the Brazilian government; with all the structural components and other materials for the project imported from Brazil, has been one of the most touted legacies of former President John Mahama, who is also the flagbearer of the NDC for the 2020 elections.

Perhaps, on the background of this, the NDC campaign brought their activities to the doorstep of traders in the facility, hoping to remind them that this is one of their legacies.

However, a video footage making rounds on social media indicates that the traders were obviously unenthused as they chased the team away with hooting and insults.
