Video: Asiedu Nketia Delivers A Powerful Address At Manhyia; Otumfuor Nods In Agreement

It was all laughter at the Manhyia palace when the Asantehene, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II requested the General Secretary of the Opposition NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia to address him and his chiefs. This was after the NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama led a powerful delegation of NDC dignitaries to officially introduce his running mate, Prof. Jane Naana to Manhyia.

After the NDC leaders had spoken, and it was time for the Asantehene to respond, the reverred Monarch specifically requested Mr Asiedu Nketia to speak, since he wanted to listen to him.

General Mosquito responded by explaining to the Overlord of Asanteman that he had sought to remain quiet because he was exhausted from his campaign trips with the NDC running mate.

He however, heeded the request of the Asantehene and delivered a short address full of laughter, as typical of the man we have come to know as General Mosquito. His address was so full of life, it got the Asantehene nodding in agreement.
