VAR Machine Used for Ghana-Nigeria Game Stolen In Abuja

FIFA’s VAR Machine used to aid officiating during the World Cup Qualifiers clash betwen Nigeria and Ghana has reportedly been stolen.

According to reports, the machine was stolen after supporters of the Nigerian side stormed the pitch at full time destroying everything they could lay hands on.

Witness account by sports jounalist Saddick Adams claimed the Black Stars were forced to stay in the dressing room for hour for fear of attacks.

He said it took the intervention of the military to chauffeur the Black Stars back to their hotel for safety.

Nigerian fans went haywire follwing their team’s 1:1 draw with the Black Stars crushing their hopes of making it to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
