A Court In Virginia in the United States has dismissed a defamation suit brought before it by Assin Central MP, Ken Agyapong against US-based Ghanaian journalist, Kevin Taylor.

Mr Agyapong sued the controversial journalist for defamation in the latter part of 2021, citing continuous character defamation and abuse by Mr. Taylor.

Delivering his ruling, Judge Liam O’Grady suggested Kennedy Agyapong has no basis for asking the court to take 9.5 million dollars from Kevin Taylor on grounds of defamation.

The judge cited many cases as references and stated Kennedy Agyapong failed to truly prove that as a public figure as he is, the said issues he said defamed him actually did.

His case on all account has thus been thrown out or dismissed with 60 days grace period for him to appeal the judgment.
