A ‘trotro’ driver with the name Liman Akwara did the unthinkable on Friday when he abandoned his vehicle full of passengers just to meet his idol, Shatta Wale.

According to Joy Online, he made an abrupt stop when he got to the premises of JOY FM because he saw the musician entering the building.

Liman Akwara quickly stopped his vehicle and got off telling his mate to give back the passengers fares to them while he entered the JOY FM premises.

Mr Akwara who has tattooed the dancer singer on his back told Myjoyonline.com that he has been waiting for “this moment all my life”. He was then led to meet the dancehall artiste and couldn’t hold his tears after meeting his idol finally.

An obviously teary Shatta Wale welcomed him with opened arms and expressed shock at the love he receives from his fan.

The driver disclosed that he had lost his mother that morning, however, upon meeting Shatta, he feels relieved.
