This Is Law, Not Politics – Dafeamekpor On Oppong Nkrumah’s Claim To Subpoena Mahama If Jean Mensah Is Subpoenaed

Member of Parliament for South Dayi, Rockson-Nelson Este Kwami Dafeamekpor, has advised Information Minister designate, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah to draw the line between politics and law amidst the ongoing election petition.

This comes after Mr Oppong Nkrumah suggested that the second respondents may subpoena the petitioner, John Dramani Mahama to the witness box if the petitioner successfully subpoena EC Chair, Jean Mensah to be cross-examined.

Reacting to this in a tweet, Mr Dafeamekpor said, “I see. And the grounds to subpoena JM are what: Kojo?

You think this is a “do-me-I-do-you” situation? This is law, not politicking. Never you forget that.”
