There Can Never Be Peace In Odododiodio Till Lante Vanderpuye Is Kicked Out – NPP Chairman

Raymond Tettey, New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for the Odododiodio Constituency has noted that the area will have no peace till the current Member of Parliament, Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye is booted out.

This comes after the recent clash in the constituency between members of the NPP and NDC during the latter’s health walk where scores have reportedly been injured.

Speaking on Onua FM’s Yen Sempa show, Raymond Tetteh alleged that the Odododiodio Constituency have never known peace since Mr Vanderpuye became their MP in 2012. He noted that the NPP did not cause the violence because the NDC members already had broken bottles with them during the walk.

“We want peace in Odododidodoo. These things started in 2012 when Nii Lante [Vanderpuye] became the candidate and if there would be peace in Odododiodio, we have to take out Nii Lante as an MP because the NPP had no hand in what happened yesterday”, he said.
