Kofi Koranteng, one of the disqualified aspirants ahead of the 2020 polls has called on President Akufo-Addo to direct the Electoral Commission boss, Jean Mensah to bring him back to the contest.

Kofi Koranteng, who believes he was unjustly disqualified called for a ‘sensible’ chance for him to correct his mistakes.

“As a candidate, I will like to be given the same fair, sensible opportunity to correct the minor errors in the paper work of my campaign. Recently, President Nana Addo [Dankwa Akufo-Addo] reiterated a line from my platform saying that Ghana is a beacon of democracy for Africa,” he told journalists on Thursday.

“If the sitting president honestly believes that, then it is incumbent on him to direct the EC to work with my campaign to correct the minor paper work errors to place my name back on the ballot,” he demanded.
