Tell Ghanaians How Long It’ll Take You To Cancel Double-Track System – Baako To NDC

Veteran journalist, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has urged the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to come public with a time frame on how long they’ll take to phase out the double track system from the free senior high school programme.

The NDC during its manifesto launch reiterated its desire to confront the challenges facing the free shs programme, particularly, abolishing the double track system.

However, Mr Kweku Baako on Peace FM’s ‘Kokrokoo’ show noted that the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration proposed a five year plan to phase out the double track system.

Therefore, it’s important the NDC also tell Ghanaians the exact time frame they’ll use to eventually phase it out instead of giving mere promises that they’ll cancel double track.

According to Mr Baako, such promises seem unrealistic and has the potential to kill the free shs policy if further thoughts and time is not put into it.
