Takoradi: Popular Pastor Dragged To Court For Impregnating Church Member’s Wife Under The Guise Of Deliverance

A Popular Pastor in Takoradi is grappling with the law after he allegedly engaged in sexual relations with a 30-year-old woman who is said to be his church member.

The Head Pastor of El-Shaddai Outreach Ministry in Anaji has been dragged to court after sleeping with his Church member under the guise of deliverance.

The woman at the center of the issue, Regina Ankrah, in her statement of claim, narrated that Bishop Jude Nana Kwame Sarpong slept with her and impregnated her while she was still married and has refused to take up responsibility.

Regina narrated that her encounter with the Pastor began in 2014 when she was first introduced to his church by her then fiance, now ex-husband.

According to her, Bishop Sarpong claimed she had been hooked on a spiritual marriage to her deceased father, and until the said marriage was broken, she will continue to suffer broken relationships.

In the process of performing the deliverance exorcism, Regina claims Bishop Sarpong slept with her a week before her wedding while her fiancé was a member of the Bishop’s church.

According to her, several sexual bouts occurred subsequently between them, leading to a pregnancy.

Her husband subsequently headed to court for a divorce since he was not responsible for the pregnancy.

The Matter is currently before the Takoradi Circuit Court ‘B’.
