Supreme Court Update: You Have Only 30 Minutes To Make Your Argument – Judge Tells Tsatsu Tsikata

on

The 9-member Supreme Court panel hearing an application for review by the Petitioner in the ongoing 2020 election petition have issued a warning to lead counsel for the petitioner, Tsatsu Tsikata to confine his argument to 30 minutes.

The Judge, mandated by the panel to keep the time of the counsels, also warned Mr Tsikata that there will be no extension of time when the time elapses.

The Court has been reconstituted to include two additional judges to hear the review brought by the petitioner.

Mr Tsikata is arguing that the decision of the court not to allow the petitioner to reopen his case is a miscarriage of justice.
