Supreme Court Once Again Unanimously Dismisses Tsikata’s Application For Review

The 9-member Supreme Court panel constituted to hear an application for review brought by counsel for the petitioner, Tsatsu Tsikata have once again ruled to unanimously dismiss the application.

After over 30 minutes of passionate advocacy in which he even quoted from the book of Prophet Hosea, Mr Tsikata called upon the court to rule with their conscience and judicial oath in correcting what he termed as a fundamental ruling in their earlier ruling not allow the petitioner to reopen his case and subpoena the EC Chair.

Counsels for the 1st and 2nd respondents also argued passionately against the position of Mr Tsikata insisting that the application ought to be dismissed because it was simply an abuse of court processes.

The Court after considering their ruling, once again dismissed the application in a comprehensive ruling read by his lordship the Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin Yeboah.
