Stop Blaming Colonialism; The Enemies Destroying Ghana Are Our Leaders – Manasseh Azure

Ace investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has urged Ghanaians to quit putting blaming their woes on the colonialism and look within the country to find those responsible for our under-development.

In a series of posts on Facebook he wondered how African leaders steal huge sums of money from their citizens leaving them in abject poverty yet the people continue to blame the white man.

He wrote: “Will Africans stop blaming the white man for our woes and deal with our leaders who throw away our resources? The enemy is within!”

“Our grandchildren will read sanitised history of how illegal Chinese miners & loggers invaded our land and destroyed our forests.

He continued: “EDUCATE ME: How is colonialism responsible for Abacha’s theft of billions of US dollars from Nigeria?

Why did Jacob Zuma turn over his country’s resources to the Gupta Family? Why should we blame the white man for this?” he quizzed.
