SHS Food Shortage: Students Cries Out To Nana Addo After Eating Gari For A Month [Video]

Some students under the Free Senior High School policy are crying to President Akufo-Addo as a matter of urgency to correct the quality of food they are served at school.

According to them, they are sick and tired of eating “gari” and “Gari Jollof” on the regular while they could be allowed to go home if indeed there is a shortage of food.

In a video, these disgruntled students expressed their frustrations over the food they are served with. They are seen throwing the food about, expressing disgust over their diet which visibly looked poor and unnourishing.

Earlier, it was reported that several second cycle schools across the country have been hit with food shortages where students are being served bad diet and their menu repeated without explanation. Authorities in charge of the sector had rebutted the claim and asked Ghanaians to debunk the news that the Free SHS policy was suffering a major setback ie food shortage.

However, the video below actually tells a deeper story of how these students are being served food they do not enjoy on the regular. To avoid vilification, they hid their faces as they made their sentiments known to President Akufo-Addo and those in charge.
