Sentiments of Supreme Court Judges Revealed Mahama Rigged 2012 Elections – Obiri Boahen Claims

Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen after several years of the country’s first electoral petition have claimed sentiments of the judges who ruled the case revealed former president John Dramani Mahama rigged the polls.

Speaking on Hello FM, Obiri Boahen said as a lawyer himself, a study of the Supreme Court ruling and proceeding and Judges sentiments pointed out clearly that John Mahama became President through a rigged and manipulated polls.

“Vice President, you’ve becomes a sitting President after the death of the President. We went to the polls in 2012, there was a supreme court petition questioning the outcome of the election, a lot has happened. As a Lawyer, if you look at the sentiments of the judges, you will realize that they were aware he rigged the elections, he didn’t win,” he said.

He further alleged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) rigged the 2016 elections however, they still could not win because Ghanaians had made up their minds to vote them out.

Obiri Boahen maintained that the NDC’s biggest problem is John Mahama. He urged them to find a worthy replacement for him in 2024 and come back strong.
