Senior Law Lecturer At The University of Ghana Brutally Murdered At His Residence

A senior lecturer at the University of Ghana Law Faculty, Professor Emmanuel Yaw Benneh,  has been gruesomely killed in his East Legon residence.

The senior academic was found dead in his home on Saturday morning, though he is believed to have been murdered on Thursday night.

Prof  Benneh, GhanaFeed.Com understands, had retired from the university but works on contract and lives alone in his mansion at East Legon, not far from American House.

According to the Police, there was no sign of a break in the huge mansion the retired lecturer lived alone in East Legon.

The late Professor is said to have been discovered dead after his door was forced open by a carpenter in the presence of his sister.

His hands and legs were all tied, and his body was was found in a pool of blood between the bedroom and the living room.

There were signs of a struggle in the room prior to his death.

Although the crime scene has been cleaned, there were splashes of blood on the floor.
