Sammy Gyamfi Makes U-Turn On Menzgold Payment Saga, Says NDC Never Promised Payment

Lead Communicator of the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi has slammed the NPP for either having a reading problem or a comprehension problem.

According to him, John Dramani Mahama never said anywhere that he is going to pay Menzgold customers when voted into power.

His reaction comes after the flagbearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama denied claims of paying Menzgold customers when voted into power coming December 7 polls.

In a statement issued by his outfit to explain what actually Mahama said pertaining to the Menzgold saga, it reads;

It is either our NPP friends have a reading problem or a comprehension problem.

Below is a quote from H.E John Dramani Mahama interview on Star FM on the matter of the payment of Menzgold customers. Just judge for yourself.

“Menzgold is a different kettle of fish because we don’t know the extent of what the indebtedness is. I’ve not seen any document that shows that this is how much it is. So unless you investigate and find out.

“It looks like this government has been reluctant to investigate it or even go after those who took people’s money in the fraudulent manner. And so I said when we come we’ll pursue and find out what the true facts are and we’ll take remedial actions to alleviate the suffering of the customers”- JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA

Now tell me….how on earth can anyone who has an appreciation of the English language, read the above and come to the conclusion that John Mahama has no intention to ensure that Menzgold customers get their monies. Is the statement; “we’ll take remedial actions to alleviate the suffering of the customers” too difficult for our NPP friends to understand? Incredible!
