Sack Hawa Koomson Or Lose My Friendship – Franklin Cudjoe to Akufo Addo

Leader of policy think-thank Imani Ghana, Franklin Cudjoe has called on President Akufo Addo to either sack  Minister for Special Development Initiatives, Mavis Hawa Koomson or lose his friendship.

This comes after the minister admitted that she fired gunshots at a voters registration centre in her constituency.

“The lives of my people were in danger when the guys on motorbike came to the registration centre so I fired warning shots but I didn’t direct it to anyone…The shots I fired brought sanity to the centre because the guys on the motorbike left the centre…None of my men had guns on then when we got to the centre. I fired the shots myself…I’m a Member of Parliament, I need to protect myself. It was at dawn; my police escort had not started work yet. So that is a mechanism I have adopted in his absence,” Hawa Koomson said on Adom FM.

In reaction, in disappointment wrote on his Facebook page calling on President Akufo Addo to sack the Minister and not even wait for a resignation letter. He gave the president two options, either sack her or lose his friendship with him.

“My President, NADAA, SACK HER!! NO RESIGNATION LETTER ELSE YOU WILL LOSE MY FRIENDSHIP,” the facebook post read.
