Revealed: NDC Sidelined Allotey Jacobs Because He Presented Mahama With A Budget Containing Meatpie Of 1.5 Billion

New details are emerging from the camp of the NDC which seeks to suggest that the former central regional chairman of the party, Allotey Jacobs was sidelined because the party felt he was out to line his pockets.

Mr. Jacobs has been engaged in a massive media war with his party since his suspension last year and his subsequent dismissal this year.

The former central regional chairman has accused his party of sidelining him prior to the 2016 elections without any clear reasons.

However, the Central Regional Youth Organizer of the NDC, Eric Dadson has provided new details on the matter suggesting that Mr Jacobs was actually sidelined because of an atrocious budget he presented to the flagbearer of the party, John Dramani Mahama.

According to Eric Dadson, presenting a budget for the launch of the party’s campaign in 2016, Mr Jacobs budgeted for 30,000 pieces of meatpie at 1.5 billion.

Eric Dadson explains that this led to party leadership thinking that Mr Allotey was trying to line his pocket at the expense of the party.

This, according to Eric Dadson, is what led to the sidelining of Mr. Jacobs and not necessarily any personal vendetta.
