Reduce Your Salaries By 25% To Save The Economy – Prof. Adei Begs Akufo-Addo

A former Board Chair of the Ghana Revenue Authority, Prof. Stephen Adei has begged President Akufo-Addo to cut salaries of the Executive and other Article 71 office holders by 25% to save the economy.

According to the respected academic, this is the only way to save the economy which is facing significant challenges.

In an interview with Joy News, Prof. Adei said he believes that if government were to adopt this strategy, there will be enough resources to address other pertinent challenges.

Prof. Adei also impressed on President Akufo-Addo to consider reducing the size of government.
