Real Madrid Reaches Agreement To Sign Kylian Mbappe

Real Madrid has been hunting for a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo since he left the club, after Eden Hazard failed to live up to his potential while at Chelsea in London.

According to the German publication Sports Bild, Kylian Mbappe’s transfer to Real Madrid is a done deal. The 23-year-old French international will be paid an extraordinary weekly salary of 800,000 pounds, amounting to a total of 50 million pounds per year, including bonuses.

The highly rated teenage star joins the Galacticos on a free transfer from Ligue 1. His contract and high pay hamper Eirling Haaland’s entry at Santiago Bernabue.

Mbappe has been a revelation this season, scoring 19 goals and assisting 15 times in 27 appearances for Mauricio Pochetino.

PSG are set to target Barcelona’s contract rebel Ousmane Dembele, who has been announced to be leaving the Catalans, as a possible replacement.
