Our President Is Not Your President’s Father; Go To Abuja For A Speech From Your President – Nana Aba Fires Nigerians

Veteran Ghanaian broadcaster, and General Manager of Ghone TV, Nana Aba Anamoah has vented her frustrations on a section of Nigerian citizens who have aggressively taken to Twitter to demand a statement from Ghana’s President on the current situation in Nigeria.

Some Nigerians have mounted pressure on Ghana’s President, Nana Akufo-Addo to call his Nigerian counterpart, Muhamadu Buhari to order on the unfortunate violent retaliation on unarmed civillian protestors by the Nigerian army.

Even though President Akufo-Addo finally released a statement yesterday calling for calm from both protestors and military, some Nigerians have hurled insults at President Akufo-Addo, claiming his statement did not deal with the severity of the situation.

However, reacting to the obvious insolence of the Nigerian Twitter users, an unenthused Nana Aba Anamoah reminded them that President Akufo-Addo is not the father of their president.

The veteran broadcaster further directed the Nigerians to go to Abuja where their President resides if they were looking for a statement that effectively addressed their concerns.
