Otumfuor Advices Ibrahim Mahama’s Exton Cubic To Bid For Nyinahin Bauxite Concession

The Asantehene, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II has advised Exton Cubic Group, owned by Ghanaian millionaire, Ibrahim Mahama to consider bidding for a concession to mine bauxite at Nyinahin.

The Asantehene said he was aware that the company had tried unsuccessfully in the past to mine for bauxite in Nyinahin.

The Asante Overlord, therefore, adviced the company to give it another try now that the huge bauxite concession has been divided into three parts.

Otumfuor also stressed on the need for fairness to prevail in the distribution of the concessions by calling on authorities not to discriminate against any company which has the capacity to operate.
