Osofo Kyiri Abosom Appoints Running Mate

Founder and flagbearer of Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Reverend Christian Kwabena Andrews, has chosen Alhaji Abu Grant Lukman as his running mate for the 2020 presidential and parliamentary polls.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview, Political Scientist of the party, Rev Lenin B. K. Trotsky, said that Lukman came with immense experience and knowledge from the private sector that would help canvass massive votes for the party in the upcoming elections.

He revealed that Rev. Andrews, popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, settled on Alhaji Lukman after wide stakeholder and party consultations.

The Movement believes that Alhaji Lukman’s islamic appeal and ties with the Northern Region would pull a huge crowd for GUM, a newly formed political party.

GUM, according to Rev. Trotsky is a movement uniting all Ghanaians irrespective of their political associations to take the country back from failed governance and policies of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
