Onua FM Reportedly Suspends All Programs Except Captain Smart’s ‘Onua Maakye’

The Management of Onua FM, one of the subsidiaries of the Media General Group, has reportedly suspended all its programs.

According to reports, the only program currently being run by the Station is Morning Show, ‘Onua Maakye’ currently hosted by Captain Smart.

The Station apparently considers Captain Smart’s program its flagship program.

The decision, according to reports, forms part of plans to give the mass-market community-focused radio station a new face with the introduction of new programmes and some personalities as presenters.

However, this portal has picked up reports that the Station is troubled as a result of significantly low listenership.
