Only A Leader Like Atta Mills Can Transform Ghana – Tsatsu Tsikata

Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata has stated that Ghana needs a leader like late president John Atta Mills to transform the country.

In an interview on TV3, the former Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) said the country can only progress when it has a leader who is not vindictive; rather continues projects of erstwhile administrations.

To him, the country’s major problem is that every leader tends to create their own path and not pursue a national agenda.

“I look forward to the days in this country where we can actually have leaders like President Mills who are not pre-occupied with trying to prosecute and jail people from other side but say that we are all in this country together, lets see how we can enhance what has gone on before.

“Let’s see how what happened under President Rawlings, Kufuor, Mahama should be continued. That is not really what our records show we have been doing except for the example I gave,” he said.
