Intense lobbying for the positions of the leadership of the minority caucus in Parliament has began in earnest as interested parties begin to show themselves.

The leadership of the NDC caucus in Parliament has been under intense Pressure in the last few weeks owing to their Approval of some nominees of the President against the wider interest of their party.

Many have called for an overhaul of the leadership, with minority leader, Haruna Iddrisu and chief whip, Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka taking the most stick.

With the general secretary of the NDC, Asiedu Nketiah hinting of a looming change in Parliamentary leadership, some names have already started popping up.

It is widely reported by a section of the media that Mr James Klutse Avedzi, who currently acts as deputy to Haruna Iddrisu is being proposed as a replacement of the minority leader.
