Office Of The Judiciary Orders GhanaWeb To Pull Down A False Publication, “Judge In Kennedy Agyapong’s Contempt Case Transferred Outside Accra” Or Face Legal Action

The office of the Judiciary has written to the editor of GhanaWeb, an online portal to pull down a publication with caption “Judge In Kennedy Agyapong’s Contempt Case Transferred Outside Accra”.

According to the office of the Judiciary, the said publication is false. It added that ” His Lordship Justice Amos Wuntah is still at post at the Land court 12, Law Court Complex in Accra and has not been transferred to Ho as the publication asserted”

It went on to say that GhanaWeb should immediately pull down the offending publication from their news portal and apologise unreservedly on the website to the Judicial Service. It warned that, failure for them to do so would compel them to Lodge Official complain to the National Media Commission, the National Communications Authority and probably resort to legal action. The statement added.
