‘Non-Grassroot’ Jane Naana Played A Role In Mahama’s Defeat In 2020 Polls – Atubiga

Former member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Stephen Atubiga says John Dramani Mahama’s decision to go for Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang as running mate contributed to his defeat in the 2020 polls.

According to him, Naana Jane is a non-grassroot member of the NDC and Mahama could have helped himself by going for one of the persons who contested him for the primaries.

He noted that Naana Jane was forced on Mr Mahama by some cabals within the NDC who were not interested in seeing him win the polls.

In another interview on hot fm, Atubiga said Mr Mahama was betrayed by persons entrusted with key roles to ensure his victory in the 2020 elections.

According to him, all his life, he has never seen politicians who like sex than those from the NDC side.

“As at two weeks in November 2020, money to train 105 polling agents for the December elections weren’t available…The people at Mahama’s private office are very lazy and useless…they were not able to coordinate from the polling stations at least for ten seconds during the election but they were rather sitting somewhere and having sex… See, one of the things that caused the defeat of the NDC was buttocks,” Atubiga was reported by hotfmghana.com.

He continued,” I have not seen politicians who like sex like the leadership of the NDC…there were internal strategic buttocks and external buttocks which sank the party ….During the election, we don’t have sex for long but they were having sex all day… Mahama’s defeat was a deliberately calculated betrayal…They intentionally caused Mahama’s defeat”.
