NDC’s Contribution To Ghana Democracy Is Like Lukaku’s Contribution To Chelsea FC – Obiri Boahen

A deputy General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahen, has compared the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) contribution to Ghana’s democracy to the lukewarm attitude of Romelu Lukaku at Chelsea football club.

The third spell of Romelu Lukaku at Chelsea has not lived up to expectation despite the club shelling millions to sign him from Inter Milan.

In comparing the NDC’s contribution to Ghana’s democracy, Nana Obiri Boahen stated that it is like lumping the performance of Romelu Lukaku and Ousmane Dembele to Chelsea and Barcelona respectively.

Speaking on Wontumi TV, the deputy NPP scribe stated that the NDC deserves credit for their contribution towards building Ghana but was quick to add that their contribution is minute.
