NDC To Investigate Why Members Always Leave Party To Join NPP In Awutu Senya West

The Awutu Senya West National Democratic Congress (NDC) has instituted a committee to look into why its members defect to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on a regular.

This comes after the party’s former constituency chairman, Simon Duodo together with hundred of its supporters defected to the NPP.

Speaking on Onua FM’s Yen Sempa  show, the current Chairman of the Constituency, Daniel Arko noted that the party will look into the issue and find reasons why former chairmen, particularly, defect to the NPP.

“We have set up a committee to investigate and bring them back. We want them back because they did not say we have done something against them. They claim they went because of what George Andah has done and so we urge them to come,” he stated as quoted by 3News.
