NDC Playing Psychological Games With Open Campaign For Chairman Wontumi- Dr Suadwa
Dr. Richard Boadi Suadwa has warned of the psychological games the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is playing with their open support for Chairman Wontumi.
Speaking on Wontumi TV, Dr. Richard Boadi Suadwa a known communicator for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), stated that the NDC hates that the NPP has strong faith in Chairman Wontumi to represent them as Ashanti Regional Chairman.
“Wontumi has beaten you (NDC) twice in an election. How can you say that you still want him to lead the NPP as Chairman? It is all tricks. They know if they succeed in making people not vote in Ashanti region, it will reduce the votes of NPP. But under Chairman Wontumi, that intimidation has all stopped. Today they are applying tricks. They want to use psychology”, Dr. Richard Boadi was quoted by Wontumionline.
So far, few aspirants have expressed interest in leading the NPP as Ashanti regional Chairman but Dr. Suadwa warns that any move to replace Chairman Wontumi, would have dire consequence on the NPP in 2024.
“You can’t sack somebody of his caliber from post. We might be handing over power to NDC on silver platter”, he explained.
