NDC Beats NPP In All Sectors – Kwakye Ofosu to Bawumia

Former Deputy Communications Minister, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has insisted there is no sector that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) can boast of an achievement better than the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Reacting to Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s claims that no government has achieved as much as President Akufo Addo has achieved in his first four years of governance, Kwakye Ofosu labelled the claim as untrue.

“To begin with, Dr Bawumia made the staggering claim that his government has done more work than the NDC in eight years. I can tell you outright that that is an absolute untruth,” he said on TV3’s News @10 on Tuesday.

He added, “there is not a single sector that the NPP can boast of an achievement better than the NDC,” citing the transport sector achievements as mediocre.

According to him, the second phase of the Kumasi Airport project is “a Mahama project and not an Akufo-Addo project. In addition to that [former] president Mahama had to his credit the ultra-modern Terminal 3 project which [takes] 5 million passengers a year.”
