NDC Badly Needs Rawlings’ Body For Spiritual Directions; Don’t Give Them Access – Group Warns Gov’t

A Civil Society Organization, Concerned Voters Movement (CVM), has made claims that the National Democratic Congress needs the body of its late founder, Jerry John Rawlings to perform rituals ahead of the 2020 polls.

According to the Ghana Guardian, the group claimed that “the crocodile tears of Asiedu Nketia is allegedly due to the undue delay of the performance of the sacrifice and the rituals.”

They therefore called on government and family of the demised former president to do everything in their power to police the body of Rawlings.

“We are urging the Government and the Rawlings family to do everything possible to police the body of J. J. Rawlings and block the leadership of NDC from having undue access to the body of Rawlings,” it said.
