A leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Brigadier(Retired) Joseph Nunoo Mensah has said that Ghana has a gloomy future with the two leading political parties at the helm of affairs.
According to him, what he see about the country is nothing to write home about and although the people have banked their hopes in the leadership of the country, the leadership only works to satisfy themselves.
“I just want to see the vision that I have dreamed of realized in Ghana before I depart. That vision, I don’t see any of the two parties achieving it”.
The former National Security Advisor was speaking in an interview on Accra-based Joy FM.
He was uncertain of what was going to happen in the country when he’s gone and therefore expressed worry over the current state of the country.
“When I look into the future in a crystal ball I see the only hell and so I say what is going to happen to Ghana when I’m gone.”
The Security adviser under the Mills led administration could not rub his head around the gloom awaiting the country saying “I’m looking for a future for our country. We can’t even feed ourselves”.
